How we pick winners

The initial stage of the award process is the public Nomination which is open for a period of 30 Days. All submitted nominations are vetted by the Awards Committee which consists of 7 Members carefully selected to represent the diverse field of Ecommerce

IMPORTANT: Each public Vote is equivalent to 1 vote and each individual is allowed to cast 5 Votes.

Conflict of Interest: The Awards committee takes conflict of interest very seriously. Conflict of interest (COI) is generally recognized as a situation where there is a risk that professional judgment or decision could be influenced by some secondary interest. In the context of  Zambia Ecommerce Awards committees, COI derives from a committee member’s relationship with a nominee and/or affiliation with a nominee’s institution. Members of Zambia Ecommerce Awards committees award subcommittees avoid the appearance of any impropriety by adhering to the strict guidelines. To get a copy of these guidelines, please email us at awards@eafricaexpo.com

The second stage involves shortlisting of the Top 10 Nominees. This is done by tallying the votes received for each nomination.

The Awards Committee will only vet the results for Conflict of Interest and other matters that may impair the objectivity of the process but will not nominate anyone.
